Planning panel backs special exception for education center

PA WILSON — Planning Commission unanimously recommends special exception for education center at industrial site. Jacqueline Tomko and her attorney Catherine Durso sought approval for Inspired Mind Education Instruction and Enrichment Center to occupy 12,500 square feet at 1991 Northampton Street with a maximum enrollment of 158 students, 13 staff members, and 2 administrators. Jeffrey Bracken's motion to recommend Zoning Hearing Board approval, seconded by Len Feinberg, passed unanimously, conditioned on compliance with the Borough Engineer's review.
